Kelsi Jerene is an author, educator, and PhD applicant with an MBA and MFA, dedicated to the craft of writing and the power of education. Her work is rooted in a belief that strong storytelling and thoughtful instruction can shape how we see and understand the world.

Driven by a desire to create better early reading experiences for her son, she began writing her own first-reader books—stories designed to be simple, engaging, and meaningful for young learners.

She also writes psychological thrillers under the pen name Emma Brattin, where her work explores tension, emotion, and the complexities of the human mind.
